Overview
An early-stage technology company is looking for a Product Engineer to join as one of the first engineers and take ownership of the company's core user-facing platform.

The primary product is a recruiter dashboard used as a CRM to manage roles, submit candidates, track pipelines, and manage payments. This role requires a strong product mindset, combining full-stack development with deep involvement in product design and user experience.

You will work closely with the founder, interact directly with users, and iterate quickly to build tools that significantly improve recruiter productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Core Product Development

  • Design and build end-to-end product features for the recruiter dashboard

  • Develop intuitive workflows that simplify candidate submission and pipeline management

  • Improve recruiter productivity through optimized UX and streamlined data flows

  • Enhance role discovery, filtering, and candidate tracking features

  • Build and improve pipeline visualization tools such as Kanban-style boards and status indicators

Product Innovation & AI Integration

  • Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate intelligent product features

  • Implement AI-powered summaries, role recommendations, and recruiter insights

  • Develop tools that help recruiters evaluate candidate-role fit before submission

Growth & Product Experience

  • Support growth initiatives across onboarding, activation, and retention

  • Build dashboards and product features related to earnings, incentives, and performance

  • Continuously improve product quality, usability, and performance

  • Work closely with leadership to balance speed of delivery with long-term product quality

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-stack software engineering experience

  • Experience building and shipping products end-to-end

  • Strong programming fundamentals and modern web development expertise

  • Strong product mindset with focus on user experience and business impact

  • Ability to work independently and make product decisions in early-stage environments

  • Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience in early-stage startups or founding teams

  • Experience building CRM platforms, dashboards, or internal tools

  • Experience in HR tech or recruiting technology

  • Familiarity with AI-powered product features
