About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a rapidly growing AI and Data Analytics company. This is a high-impact role focused on designing scalable backend systems, building innovative AI-powered capabilities, and shaping the long-term architecture of the platform.

You will work on distributed systems, graph databases, large-scale data pipelines, and real-time infrastructure that power enterprise-grade intelligence solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys both architectural thinking and hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale backend services using Python and Go.
• Architect and maintain high-performance data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Develop and optimize APIs that support AI-driven enterprise applications.
• Work with graph database technologies and production-grade Graph RAG systems.
• Collaborate closely with AI and Machine Learning teams to deploy intelligent features into production.
• Design systems for scalability, reliability, observability, and fault tolerance.
• Drive technical architecture decisions and contribute to the platform's long-term roadmap.
• Mentor engineers and promote backend engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience building and scaling distributed systems and microservices.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with large-scale data processing systems.
• Strong system design and architecture skills.
• Experience operating in startup or high-ownership environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Go.
• Experience with graph databases.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and Generative AI technologies.
• Experience with real-time data processing and streaming systems.
• Understanding of Machine Learning and AI concepts.
• Kubernetes and container orchestration experience.
• Experience designing highly concurrent and scalable systems.
