Overview
A fast-growing technology startup is looking for a Founding Engineer to join a small, highly technical team and take ownership of core product systems. The company is experiencing rapid growth and is now focused on scaling its product, infrastructure, and engineering velocity.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with technical founders, contribute across the full stack, and help shape both the product and the engineering culture from an early stage.
Key Responsibilities

Build across the full stack including backend, mobile application, and blockchain components

Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript

Contribute to mobile development using React Native (Expo)

Work with Solidity and EVM-based smart contracts for on-chain functionality

Define engineering standards, architecture, and development best practices

Deliver high-quality features while balancing speed and reliability

Take ownership of critical systems and infrastructure

Support scaling efforts and improve product performance and reliability

Participate in technical decision-making and long-term architecture planning

Help recruit, mentor, and guide future engineering team members as the company grows

Requirements

3–5+ years of experience building and shipping production software

Strong full-stack development skills

Experience with TypeScript/Node.js and modern application architectures

Ability to work across multiple technologies and learn quickly

Experience building scalable and reliable software systems

Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments

Strong product mindset with focus on performance and user experience
