HP-UX Admin San Jose, CA / Wilmington, MA
Duration: Fulltime
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Should have the knowledge of managing and doing server administration of below-mentioned HP UX servers OS, Provides technical support with systems and applications on HPUX/Linux systems. HP Unix consist of these version
- HP-UX B.10.20A
- HP-UX B.10.20E
- HP-UX B.11.31U
2. Should have exposure to work in this storage area. Storage consists of HPE 3PAR , Netapp Arrays, Synology.
Roles & Responsibilities-
1. Perform installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of HP-UX/Linux operating systems and related peripheral hardware
2. Install, Configure and optimize HPVM virtualization stack
3. Monitor and respond to system problems utilizing a variety of testing tools and techniques
4. Candidate must have very good communication ability and can manage customer and work exp in customer environment
5. Monitor and troubleshoot current storage environment in terms of usage, performance, reporting and availability
6. Install, configure and monitor Service Guard Software as necessary
7. Manage and Configure enterprise SAN including fiber switches and different storage environments
8. Good understanding with HPE C7000 chassis and Itanium blades.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 a year
