Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager, Senior
Location: Oakland, CA
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Pay Range: 80 - 110/hr, W 2
**LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY - Bay Area or Greater Bay Area** The role would be 95% Remote – Occasional travel to OGO or Bay Area office for team meetings or in-person workshops. Most meetings and workshops are hosted on MS Teams.
**Equipment: Client laptop will be provided
**LOGISTICS: (1) All travel will be confined to Bay Area. Reimbursement for mileage only qualified for travel outside of Bay Area (for example, outside of a 50 mile radius from OGO may be reimbursed on an approval basis, if travel is requested by Manager). (2) With prior Manager approval, may expense for internet reimbursements at a set amount.

Summary:
Support Electric Operations tools and application initiatives.
Participate in Elevate (GIS) design and modernization workshops.
Gather and organize complex operational and technical information.
Translate information into clear, executive-ready insights for EO leadership read-outs.
Serve as a bridge between Electric Operations, IT, and program teams.
Synthesize inputs from multiple stakeholders into concise narratives, visuals, and recommendations.
Support the EPT and tagging process improvement initiative by documenting end-to-end workflows.
Align processes across normal and outage/restoration conditions.
Improve visibility, consistency, and communication of completed field work and tagging activities.
Job Duties:
Determine that project objectives are achievable.
Provide guidance to engineering on producing complex risk and alternative analyses, studies, and conceptual designs.
Oversee and administrate EPC contracts in accordance with ESC Work Oversight Committee.
Negotiate third-party contracts, supporting other departments when appropriate.
Develop and champion company-wide best practices.
Make presentations to company officers as appropriate.
Arbitrate and resolve conflicts within the project.
Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project managers.
Knowledge / Abilities:
Knowledge of land acquisition, CPUC and environmental permitting, and EPC contracting procedures.
Superior ability to interface with and across supporting organizations and conduct formal presentations to officers.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent in education and experience.
8 years experience in project management, project controls, engineering, and/or construction for internal candidates, 9 years for external hires.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and maintenance required for new entrants.
