Location: Georgia

Southwestern Georgia regional health system Orthopedic Group is currently seeking a full-time Orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hands to join an established practice with three other board-certified orthopedic physicians, including additional support from mid-levels.

  • Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; plus an annual 3% cost-of-living adjustment.
  • Bonus: 100% of shared practice profits
  • Call: Call required 7 days/month; extra pay for extra call
  • Schedule: Monday Friday 8am-5pm; time split equally between clinic and OR.
  • Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
  • Facility details: The Sterling Orthopedic Clinic is located within walking distance of the hospital campus; 24/7 access to physicians lounge with meals provided; a 24-hour all-access employee fitness center; and a state-of-the-art Medical Education Center with simulation rooms, a conference center, and more.

Requirements:

  • Completion or upcoming completion of orthopedic residency and a hand fellowship
  • Required Certifications/Licensures: Board-certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years); Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
