Senior Workday Adaptive Planning System Analyst onsite in Draper, NY. Summary: The client is looking for an expert in building data models in Adaptive Planning so that users can conduct their analysis. This is a data focused position on information technology.
BS or BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5-6 years of hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights) or similar EPM/planning platforms
Expertise in building data models in Adaptive Planning
Experience leading requirements discussions and working sessions with business stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills
Advanced Excel skills to support analysis, validation, and reconciliation
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business users
Preferred/Nice to Have:
Experience supporting data integrations, ETL processes, or upstream source systems
Exposure to other EPM platforms (Oracle Hyperion, Oracle Cloud EPM, SAP BPC, SAP SAC, etc.)
Familiarity with Agile delivery practices
Experience working across multiple planning domains (Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR)
Interest in growing toward broader solution design or platform leadership responsibilities
