Require a Senior Business Analyst with Annuity and Life Insurance domain knowledge with 8 to 14 years of experience. Strong Business domain skills are essential. Seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the field of life insurance and annuities.

Functional Skills:

Business Analyst

Primary Skills:

  • Annuity knowledge: Fixed, Variable & Indexed Annuities. Should know IRA plans e.g. Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, 401(k), 403 (b), 457, SEP, SIMPLE
  • Have hands on exposure to policy admin systems like Vantage, ALIP, Navisys, FAST, OIPA, EXL Life Pro, etc.
  • Perform simple SQL queries.
  • Insurance domain SME with US based ANNUITY domain knowledge

Secondary Skills:

  • Agent Compensation: Work with agents to establish compensation structures that incentivize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Requirement elicitation, stakeholder management, GAP analysis.
  • Study AS-IS state and envision TO-BE state.
  • Create & review test plan, test strategy & test cases.
  • Have a good understanding of enterprise architecture.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Automation: Explore opportunities for automation.
  • Train & Mentor junior team members.
  • Good communication skills
  • Analyze life insurance processes and translate them into functional specifications. Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment. Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and support solution design. Participate in system testing, UAT support, and user training.
  • Policy Administration: Develop and implement policies to ensure efficient and effective management of life insurance and annuity products.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide training and support to less experienced team members to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.
