TECHNOLOGY

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Visio.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and topologies.
Familiarity with network security practices and tools.
Proficiency in network hardware and software configuration and management.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Network Configuration and Maintenance: Design, configure, and maintain the organization's local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks. Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks or issues, and implement solutions to optimize network operations. Install and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.


Network Security: Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address network security risks. Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.

Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users and IT teams for network related issues. Diagnose and resolve network problems promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions. Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to resolve complex network issues.

Network Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor network performance and traffic patterns using network monitoring tools. Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, protocols, and procedures. Generate regular reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track network performance and trends.

Network Upgrades and Expansion: Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations as required to meet business needs. Stay updated with emerging network technologies and recommend improvements or enhancements to the network infrastructure. 
User Training and Education: Conduct user training and awareness programs on network best practices and security protocols. Assist in creating user guides and documentation for network-related tasks and procedures.
