Job Description:
Requirements:
- IT specialist training or IT-related studies
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network technologies (switching, routing, WLAN, LAN, WAN, network management, firewall)
- German C1
- Experience with MS server operating systems and Windows applications
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix is a plus
- Initial database experience
- Knowledge of virtual servers and storage environments
- Professional experience with workstation environments and user support
- Cisco certificates in routing/switching are a plus
- Additional expertise in Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Commvault, HP, Aruba, Lancom, or Watchguard is beneficial
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and manage Microsoft server environments
- Manage virtualization solutions and clusters
- Set up and maintain network structures
- Create and update system documentation and operating manuals
- Provide system maintenance and 2nd level support for customer systems
- Maintain and support complex internal systems in our data center
- Perform error analysis and troubleshooting
