Back End Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java development and modern backend technologies, with a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. You will play a key role in designing and implementing robust APIs, microservices, and integrations that power our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and the Spring ecosystem
• Build and optimize microservices and SOA-based architectures with a focus on integration and security
• Implement and manage messaging systems using RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing
• Utilize Redis for caching and performance optimization
• Design and manage MySQL database schemas, queries, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and system reliability

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional backend development experience
• Proficient in Java development
• Hands-on experience with SpringBoot and SpringCloud
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ for message queuing
• Familiarity with Redis for caching and data storage
• Strong working knowledge of MySQL
• Proficiency in API design, microservices architecture, and SOA integration and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based single sign-on and authentication solutions (e.g., LDAP, ForgeRock, Azure AD)
• Exposure to a broader technology stack including React Native, NodeJS, Kubernetes, and container best practices
• Good understanding of cloud technologies, with hands-on experience on Google Cloud being a strong plus
