Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief of Legal, Compliance and Risk to join one of our Prestigious clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal, compliance, and risk management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement company-wide legal, compliance, and risk management strategies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Monitor and assess potential risks and develop plans to mitigate them
- Advise senior management on legal and compliance matters
- Oversee and manage all legal and compliance processes and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Lead and manage a team of legal, compliance, and risk professionals
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and consistency in legal and compliance practices
- Handle any legal disputes or issues that may arise
- Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory agencies
- Train and educate employees on legal and compliance matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree preferred
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in legal, compliance, and risk management
-Licensed as practitioner Lawer
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role
- Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards related to recruitment and employment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing and developing a team.
