Epoch Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer to support the tendering and execution of utility-scale power projects. This is a dynamic role requiring expertise in managing technical aspects across complex project phases. You will play a critical role in delivering HV transmission lines and substations for renewable energy developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Delivery: Oversee key components of major projects and take full ownership of smaller-scale initiatives.
  • Technical Oversight: Manage engineering functions and ensure project milestones are met with precision and efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Risk & Safety Management: Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and uphold strict safety protocols.
  • Tender Support: Assist with tender preparation, providing technical insights and ensuring competitive submissions.

Experience:

  • 5+ years working on HV transmission lines, substations, and large-scale energy projects.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects, particularly in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of HSEQ principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical qualifications in engineering or trade disciplines.
  • Proficient in project planning tools and the MS Office suite.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for continuous improvement.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration at all levels.
