EHS Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated professional to help foster a world-class Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) culture. This role will partner with team members and leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, drive safety initiatives, and reduce workplace risks and injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support employees and leaders in identifying hazards, reporting incidents, and developing a robust safety program.
• Collaborate with EH&S Managers to lead facility-wide EH&S initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA General Industry Standards, West Fraser policies, and all federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Deliver EH&S training sessions for employees at all levels.
• Track and report progress toward EH&S goals and objectives.
• Maintain accurate and timely EH&S records and reports.
• Provide first aid and triage support for employees and contractors when needed.
• Contribute to health screenings, education programs, OSHA recordkeeping, hearing conservation, and other health-related processes.

Qualifications:

• Prior EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of building and sustaining effective EH&S programs.
• Skilled in presenting and training team members.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and capable of demonstrating strong leadership.
• Proven ability to build and maintain cohesive teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced computer skills, including MS Office applications.
