3D Generalist

Job brief

We are looking for a 3D generalist who can innovatively execute 3D visual requirements and has good visualization skills.

As a 3D generalist, your work primarily includes creating 3D artwork based on creative brief, including applying texture, animations and visual effects.

Epik has been a pioneer in the NFT space since 2018, and works with top brands, game companies, record labels and various global leaders of industry to strategize, launch, and produce premium digital merchandise and NFT collectibles.

What you'll be doing:

• Meet with the creative team to conceptualize and discuss requirements and specifications
• Design high-quality 3D models; creating graphics, visual effects, rigging, and animations as well visual effects
• Create mockups and storyboards

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant production experience
• Graduate of a 4-year course specializing in graphic design, multimedia arts, animation, illustration, visual graphics, and computer-aided design software.
• Has a portfolio that illustrates the capacity to produce high-quality work
• Highly skilled in the following design software: 3Ds Max, V-Ray, SketchUp, Maya, and other related software.
• Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and After Effects is an advantage.
• An eye for composition, realism, texture, color, and lighting.
• Expert level knowledge of 3D design and animation tools such as 3DS Max, Maya, Zbrush etc.
• A great understanding of camera and lighting in 3D
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine and Unity is an advantage
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and as a presenter
• Adaptive to various game styles and genres as well as apply and maintain a consistent art style if needed
• Knowledge in NFTs and games is a plus!
