Onshore QA/QC representative / Technical Lead

Scope Of Work

• Project Management for 3D Offshore Marine Streamer Seismic Survey.
• HSE documentation preparation (Company + Contractor) and monitoring.
• Managing and leading offshore operations.
• Coordinating Simultaneous Operations (Marine Seismic).
• Logistics Coordinator / Shore Representative.
• Oversight to vessel construction & conversion with specialized equipment (i.e. Side Scan sonar & Multi-beam Echo-Sounders, Underwater Acoustic systems, etc.) with knowledge of Classification Societies Specifications.
• Coordinating with Seismic Vessel / Offshore Installations Manager.
• Manage adherence to tender documents and contracts for seismic data acquisition.
• Procurement of environmental and operational permits.
• Pre-survey planning, Permitting, Stakeholder liaison, and preparation of the survey area.
• Strategic planning, execution and cost tracking of the survey.
• Pre and Post survey reporting requirements, permitting and damage claim settlement with local communities, ensuring that the company has left the survey area with the good will of the local stakeholders.
• Has experience operating successfully in heavy fishing and congested marine traffic environment.
• Close out process, ensuring cost recovery.

Qualifications & Experiences 

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Geophysics / Geology / Applied Physics / Engineering or other Petroleum Industry related field.
• Have experience in managing 3D / 4D Streamers
• Have experience managing site surveys/ bathymetry/ oceanographic surveys (i.e. side scan sonars).
• Have experience with vessel construction & conversions.
• Must have experience in handling at least three (3) seismic projects within the last five (5) years as an Onshore QC representative (Technical Lead).

Requirements 

• Possess valid BOSET and HUET Certificate.
• Possess valid medical fitness certificate for working offshore.
• Possess Malaysia and Thailand working permit and other necessary legal document.
