Navigation Data QA/QC Consultant

Scope Of Work

• The Navigation & Positioning Consultant shall liaise with the Chief Navigator/Party Chief to ensure that positioning standards comply with CLIENT's requirements.
• The Navigation & Positioning Consultant shall monitor the performance of navigation & positioning systems on a day-today basis.
• Provide daily report & final operation report.
• Navigation data deliverable verification prior submit to COMPANY.
• Prior experience of solving problems with navigation data in shallow water is a pre-requisite.
• Has experience operating successfully in heavy fishing and congested marine traffic environment.



Qualifications & Experiences 

• Possess at least a Diploma in Surveying Science / Land Surveying / Hydrographic Surveying / Geomatics / Geophysics / Geology / Applied Physics / Sciences or other Petroleum Industry related field.
• Have experience as an on-site QC supervision and quality control of navigation/positioning operations experience in 3D towed streamer surveys.
• Have experience in handling at least three (3) seismic projects within the last five (5) years as geomatics QC Consultant or Navigation Data QC Rep.



Requirements

• Possess valid BOSET and HUET Certificate.
• Possess valid medical fitness certificate for working offshore.
• Possess Malaysia and Thailand working permit and other necessary legal document.
