About the job Project Engineer

JOB PURPOSE

  • The post holder is responsible in leading project delivery and execution is completed safely within allocated time & cost.



KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Review the scope of work from the Contracts & develop relevant deliverables i.e Project Execution Plan (PEP) etc.
  • Supervise overall PMT performance of works in compliance with the Contracts.
  • Comply and promote applicable HSSE and quality control instructions and procedures in project activities .
  • Ensure project delivery is in compliance with company's Project Management tools (i.e PMCOM) & escalate issues to management where necessary.
  • Develop and monitor submission of project deliverables as per approved Master Document Register (MDR) .
  • Lead interface management between internal & external stakeholders i.e support functions, Client, vendors, authorities, regulatory bodies etc.
  • Ensure timely preparation of progress reporting for stakeholders reference i.e DPR, WPR, MPR etc.
  • Keep management responsibly informed on project cost and schedule with rightful forecast at completion (FAC).
  • Anticipate the project activities and ensure all stakeholders starts in due time the necessary preparation of upcoming activities.
  • Monitor procurements & subcontracts activities to ensure timely acquisition of necessary resources for project.
  • Oversee project close-out dossier compilation and submission.



QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical); from recognized Higher Learning Institution.
  • Registered with the Board of Engineering Malaysia (BEM).



RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of ten (10) years working experience as Project Engineer, preferably in the T&I industry.
