IT & Data Management Executive

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage exploration and production asset-related data and documents (e.g., well and seismic data, maps, samples, production data, technical reports, etc.).
• Establish exploration databases as required by technical staff.
• Manage and support technical IT software so the exploration team can use them effectively, including procurement processes, contract renewals, and troubleshooting.
• Act as the focal point for technical data transfer and technical software management with technical vendors.
• Support exploration staff in preparing datasets to share with company HQ, potential partners, and/or third parties if needed.
• Support exploration staff in analyzing subsurface data using advanced IT skills (e.g., coding, machine learning, etc.).
• Conduct other necessary document/data management and technical IT-related work in coordination with the company Senior IT Analyst.
