Lifting Supervisor

Requirement:

• Possess a valid Lifting Supervisor certification.
• Knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging gear, lifting plans, and safe lifting practices.

Job scope:

• Planning, coordinating, and supervising lifting operations to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Verifying lifting plans, risk assessments, permits, and method statements prior to commencement of lifting activities.
• Conducting pre-lift briefings and ensuring all personnel involved understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Ensuring cranes, lifting equipment and rigging gear are suitable, certified, and in good condition before use.
• Monitoring lifting operations to ensure compliance with approved procedures, safety requirements and industry best practices.
• Coordinating with project personnel, users, crane operators, riggers, signalmen, and other relevant parties.
• Identifying unsafe conditions or practices and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Suspending lifting operations when unsafe conditions exist or when safety requirements are not met.
