- Location: Reidsville, NC
- Work Model: Onsite; 5 Days a Week - 30% Travel

Summary
Our client is looking for a Sales Associate to join their team! In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle for an upholstery division, driving revenue growth by building relationships, closing deals, and expanding market share in your designated region. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, stay ahead of industry trends, and deliver exceptional customer service to develop new and existing business.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer accounts, overseeing communication and sales strategies
- Grow market presence within your territory by expanding existing business and prospecting new clients
- Increase market share by leveraging seasonal and annual product offerings
- Research and monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs, offering tailored solutions, and ensuring a smooth experience
- Work closely with internal teams to align sales initiatives with product development and strategic goals
- Develop strategic sales plans, manage expenses, and contribute to overall business growth
- Represent the organization at trade shows and industry events to build new connections and strengthen existing relationships
- Travel up to 30% of the time to meet with clients, attend meetings, and visit showrooms
Requirements
- Experience with B2B sales or generally relatable expertise as it pertains to this position is required
- Proven ability to build relationships, manage accounts, and grow market share in a competitive industry
- Strong strategic thinking skills to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of closing deals
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Familiarity with upholstery, furniture, textiles, or luxury goods is highly beneficial
- Comfortable with extensive travel and remote work while not in the office
- Ability to lift and transport sample bags up to 70 lbs
Education/Certification Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Textiles, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required
- B2B sales or marketing experience in retail or specialty products is highly preferred
Preferred Requirements
- Industry experience, specifically in upholstery, home goods, luxury products, or textiles
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
