Infrastructure Support Specialist

• Location: Reidsville, NC
• Work Model: Onsite; 5 Days a Week - Availability to work off-hours and be on call as needed

Summary

Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Support Specialist to join their team! In this role, you will oversee and optimize the company's IT infrastructure, manage security protocols, and ensure a seamless technology experience for end users. You will collaborate with various teams to troubleshoot issues, deploy new solutions, and keep systems running securely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hardware and software rollouts, including PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Monitor and resolve IT support tickets, escalating issues as needed
• Install, configure, and secure servers and enterprise storage systems
• Implement and maintain IT security protocols, updates, and best-in-class cybersecurity measures
• Manage user accounts and provide ongoing IT support and training
• Track and analyze system performance to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements
• Procure and maintain IT assets and supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize IT workflows and enhance security protocols

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on IT experience
• Proven hands-on IT infrastructure expertise, including:
• Troubleshooting PCs, printers, and handheld scanners
• Windows client/server management, Active Directory, and DNS
• LAN technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, Ubiquiti/Aruba networks)
• Internet security (VPN, Fortinet firewall, antivirus, network monitoring)
• Virtual client support (Citrix) and ESXi
• M365 administration experience with Office Suite, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID
• Strong communication skills for supporting users at all levels and collaborating with vendors and global teams
• Availability to work off-hours and be on call as needed

Education/Certification Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in IT or a related field and/or 5+ years of hands-on IT experience

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
