About the job Operation and HR Specialist
JOB Objective
- Implement Recruitment plan, Capacity development program, KPIs, and Compliance.
- Develop and implement department-wide quality control measures
- Recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations
- Maintain communication with operations manager, staff members, and vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points
- Assist the operations manager in developing, planning, and coordinating operational activities
- Oversee inventory management practices and improve them when necessary
- Ensure that operations are in legal compliance with local and national regulations
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Develop and execute all operational processes and oversee efficiency
- Basic IT operations support for the entire organization
- Develop and implement the purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee stock
efficiency, - Supervise a team of operations workforce,
- Support in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff, and ensure that they adhere to standard operating procedures
- Manage suppliers and vendors for operations activities
- Liaise with other departments for day-to-day operations and recommend actionable improvements
- Monitor operations efficiency using various metrics and provide reports on activities and results of the operations function.
- Organizes and coordinates implementation of project plans to ensure effectiveness and efficiency with overall strategic plans, goals, and unit objective.
- Support Operations Manager in other assigned tasks.
YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in operations or similar role
- Prior record in supervising a team is a plus
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and sensitivity to process and operations.
- A good understanding of best practices in operations and digital awareness
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Willing to learn and take the extra mile
- Good team player and discipline
- Degree in business administration or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other productivity applications and platforms
