JOB SUMMARY:

First, the  Operations Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that they are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. Secondly, will work closely with other department heads to develop and implement operational plans, manage budgets, and oversee the performance of all operations staff. Finally, assists Ex-Co at strategic issues and facilitates development and long-term success. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

1. Liaise with Ex-Co to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.

2. Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress.

3. Manage talent of different departments and provide developmental support.

4. Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.

5. Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation.

6. Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.

7. Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.

8. Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation.

9. Manage relationships/agreements and represent the company with external stakeholders.

10. Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.

11. Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations.

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

1. Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position

2. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

3. Outstanding communication and people skills

4. Knowledge of business legal rules and guidelines

5. In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)

6. Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

7. Familiarity with MS Office and various business software

8. BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
