About the job Business Development Manager

Responsibility

  • Foster close working relationships with the General Manager and with other Management Team members and other departmental staff in terms of communication, information and development of various business proposals to potential Clients.
  • Prepares assessments on the potential of products & molecules in the Cambodian markets.
  • Collaborates with the regional Client Development and Commercialization teams to support regional business development projects.
  • Communicate with current Clients on industry market data.
  • Conduct calls, presentations and meetings with potential Clients to secure new business, and to negotiate various terms and conditions with regards to the Companys service offering.
  • Participate in industry events and professionally engage with Clients outside of the office (business lunches / dinners and so on).
  • Identify, develop and establish contact with potential clients in line with the Companys business development strategy
  • Assess products and molecules suitability for the Cambodian market
  • Promote Companys various services to potential and existing clients
  • Contract review and negotiations on various terms and conditions with existing & potential Clients
  • Maintain close contact and enhance working relationships with existing Clients
  • Manage and roll out special projects approved by the General Manager to support the business requirements of the organization
  • Other task assigned.

Job requirement

  • 8 years of relevant experience preferably with exposure to acquiring new business ventures with 5 years at a senior management level
  • Previous working experience in pharma industry would be an advantage
  • Good writing and presentation skills
  • Degree holder (University).
  • Pharmacists, Medical Doctors, Chemistry degrees are an advantage
  • In depth knowledge of Companys products and services
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical & consumer healthcare market in Cambodia
  • Good understanding of Pharmaceutical products & molecules
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements
  • Knowledge of company operations and procedures
