About the job Head of HR Manager

CRITICAL TASKS

1. Respect and abide Companys mission, vision & value, all applicable Company laws, policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

2. Manage and lead the implementation of all human resource activities in the company and provide HR operational supports to all education and training institutions under the Company and the Company.

3. Partner with all business unit leaders to develop business strategies; plan & develop people strategies and workforce planning and oversee their implementations.

4. Drive change through the development and implementation of people strategies that enable the Company to thrive in a competitive environment.

5. Manage complex employee relations issues that may have significant business impact.

6. Participate in the selection of candidates for senior positions.

7. Partner with Chief Operation Officer and Chief Education Officer to drive performance management, learning and development, succession planning and key people processes development.

8. Oversee the development and administration of all employee benefits and ensure all compensation structures and performance rewards lead to overall business success.

9. Effectively manage/balance cultural and organizational nuances and build credibility amongst leaders, managers, and employees.

10. Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and mitigate any legal risks.

11. Ensure smooth implementation of policies, procedures and initiatives.

12. Maintain employee handbooks, manuals and any related materials.

13. Oversee accurate employee records maintaining including personal data, tax information, performance reviews, accrued benefits, wage and salary information.

14. Develop, promote and monitor the ethical and moral conducts of all staff.

15. Oversee the activities of women affairs committee and sport activities for staff and the arrangement of staff events.

16. Together with Chief Operation Officer and Chief Education Officer, ensure that the Company, at all time, has enough qualified human resources to support the operation and development of the Company.

17. Ensure great teamwork, team synergy, and capacity building among teams and between the supervised teams and other teams of the Company

SECONDARY TASKS

1. Attend Companys ceremonies & events.

2. Participate in meetings with relevant institutions.

3. Act as the HR Representative of all departments and units.

4. Act as a Companys Representative with other education partners.

5. Perform all tasks assigned by the President.

DECISION-MAKING, RESPONSIBILITY, AND ACCOUNTABILITY

1. Approve leave requests and job deferment of all staff in the respective supervised departments or units after balancing the needs of the Company against the needs of the individual staff member.

2. Call all education and training institutions for meetings for updates on the HR related matters.

3. Decide to provide special scholarships and/or financial assistance of up to 20% of the tuition fees.

4. Review and approve training and education requests of employees and management within the Companys approved budget and applicable guidelines and policies.

5. Approve and sign off on recruitment and selection proposals, employment agreements and job applications, resignation letters, salary increment approval, staff appraisal for all office staff, supervisors, coordinators in the supervised departments and units in accordance to the Companys applicable guidelines and policies.

6. Approve and sign on staff appraisal including annual salary increment from rank & files up to manager levels in the supervised departments and units with the concurrence of each respective department and in accordance with the companys applicable guidelines and policies.

7. Approve the operation activities of the supervised departments and units in accordance to the Companys financial planning, budgeting and other applicable operating guidelines.

8. Approve and sign off on staff payroll.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

1. Schools achieve Companys agreed financial targets.
2. Great teamwork and team synergy among the supervised teams and between the supervised teams and other departments and units.
3. Build the trust-based relationships that allow top team to influence their peers
4. Create talent management outcomes as per target.
5. Participate and represent the Company in public events at least 5 times a year.
6. Build and implement non-bureaucratic processes that identify and grow top talents.
