Responsibilities and Duties:
Operational Leadership and Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all non-academic departments within SCHOOL.
- Develop and implement efficient operational policies and procedures that align with SCHOOL's mission and long-term strategic plans.
- Collaborate with the CAO to ensure seamless coordination between academic and non-academic functions of SCHOOL.
- Identify areas for operational improvement, implement cost-saving measures, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Manage and resolve operational challenges proactively.
Financial Management and Budgeting:
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance to develop and manage SCHOOL's operational budget.
- Oversee financial reporting, ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- Approve expenditures within designated authority, ensuring alignment with budget and SCHOOL policies.
- Identify and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation and control costs.
Human Resources Management:
- Work closely with the Director of HR to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development for non-academic staff.
- Foster a positive and engaging work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Facilities and Infrastructure Management:
- Collaborate with the Director of Administration & Facilities to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of SCHOOL campuses and facilities.
- Manage construction and renovation projects for new buildings or facility improvements.
- Develop and implement sustainable practices and strategies for resource management.
- Ensure a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for students, staff, and visitors.
IT and Technology Management:
- Work with the Director of IT to develop and implement SCHOOL's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with educational and operational needs.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, security systems, and the implementation of new technologies.
- Manage IT procurement and vendor relationships.
- Address technology-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
General Support:
- Provide additional operational and administrative support as needed to achieve SCHOOL's strategic goals.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as directed.
- Undertake other tasks as assigned to support the mission and goals of SCHOOL.
