Accounting Manager
About the job Accounting Manager
RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforces proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and completes annual financial audits
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintains fiscal files and records to document transactions
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration;
- At least 3 years of experience in finance and accounting manager position;
- Good interpersonal skill and problems solving skill;
- Good Command of English;
- Computer Microsoft office and internet/E-mail;
- In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting management;
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Be honest, flexible, responsible, smart and hardworking.
