Responsibilities and Duties:
Curriculum Development and Alignment:
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of SCHOOL's academic curricula across both national and international programs.
- Ensure strong alignment with SCHOOL's mission, educational philosophy, Cambodian national standards, and international best practices (if applicable).
- Oversee the selection of textbooks, educational resources, and instructional materials.
- Collaborate with the National Program Manager s and International Program Manager (IPM)s to ensure cohesive trilingual education across all grade levels.
Academic Leadership and Standards:
- Set high academic standards for student achievement and faculty performance.
- Develop and implement systems for monitoring student progress, assessment, and academic interventions.
- Provide support, guidance, and professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their instructional practices.
- Oversee the implementation of accreditation processes and ensure compliance with relevant educational standards.
Pedagogical Innovation and Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest educational research, trends in trilingual education, and global best practices.
- Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within SCHOOL's academic programs.
- Provide support for teachers to implement new pedagogical approaches and integrate technology effectively into classrooms.
Faculty Recruitment and Development:
- Collaborate with HRM on recruiting and hiring highly qualified teachers.
- Design and implement onboarding and mentoring programs for new faculty.
- Oversee professional development programs for all teaching staff, fostering a culture of lifelong learning.
External Relations and Partnerships:
- Represent SCHOOL at educational conferences and events, building a strong reputation for academic excellence.
- Foster partnerships with other schools, universities, and educational institutions to enhance SCHOOL's programs and opportunities for students.
General Support:
- Provide additional operational and administrative support as needed to achieve SCHOOL's strategic goals.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as directed.
- Undertake other tasks as assigned to support the mission and goals of SCHOOL.
