About Our Client

Our client, an established property developer in Indonesia, is seeking a MEP Manager position to be based in Jakarta. The requirements for the position are as follows:

As MEP Manager, you are responsible for actively managing and assessing MEP design projects, maintaining schedule and budget accuracy related to MEP, and working closely in collaboration and coordination with multiple project teams and other departments

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates for MEP systems before and after contracts are signed.
• Select MEP vendors and contractors through competitive bidding, negotiate contracts, and ensure best value.
• Monitor project spending, identify cost overruns, and take corrective action.
• Work with the project team to track and forecast MEP costs.
• Stay updated on MEP industry trends and pricing.
• Find solutions to optimize project costs.
• Manage MEP-related documentation.

Qualifications

• University degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least five years of experience managing costs and quantities, particularly for MEP systems.
• Proven ability to manage costs before and after project contracts are signed.
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in using cost-estimation software or tools.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with various teams.
