Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Equipment Engineer to join our clients team in Batam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and project management related to our manufacturing equipment, testers, and tools. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical and mechanical engineering, automation systems, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair activities on equipment, testers, and tools to minimize downtime. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and/or software issues and provide effective solutions.
• Analyze equipment performance data and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, improve reliability, and reduce operational costs.
• Lead and manage equipment improvement projects from conceptualization to execution, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and industrial engineers to ensure equipment meets the needs of the facility and supports overall operational efficiency.
• Propose and implement system improvements and ensure equipment compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards. Support safety audits and address any identified compliance issues.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of equipment modifications, improvements, maintenance activities, and project status. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Equipment Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of automation systems, electrical and mechanical principles, and software or equipment design tools.
• Strong understanding of process design, control systems, and automation technologies.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous learning mindset with a strong passion for staying updated on new technologies and methodologies in equipment engineering.
• Proficient in English and willing to be placed in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia.
