Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Commercial/Sales Manager to oversee a key business unit. This leadership role will focus on driving business growth, developing commercial strategies, leading sales teams, and ensuring financial stability while meeting budget and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a key business unit in an industry-leading multinational company
- Leverage your expertise in chemical trading
- Oversee Profit and Loss (P&L) to maintain the financial health of the business unit
- Spearhead the performance and growth of the coating business unit
- Develop and implement effective commercial strategies to expand the business
- Lead both commercial and technical teams with a supportive and collaborative leadership style
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, particularly within the chemical or coating industry
- Minimum of 8 years experience in chemical trading, specifically in coating chemicals
- Strong understanding of the coating market
- Commercial knowledge of the paint industry is a plus
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities
- Experience in managing Profit and Loss (P&L)
- Proficient in oral and written English communication
