About Our Client

Our client, an established property developer in Indonesia, is seeking a Contract Management Manager position based in Jakarta. The requirements for the position are as follows:

As the Contract Management Manager, you will be a key leader overseeing contract-related activities in our client's projects involving internal parties and external contractors. The role demands strong coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to manage contract lifecycles effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee contract management throughout the project implementation phase, ensuring all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.
  • Perform comprehensive verification of invoices from contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure alignment with project progress (payment administration).
  • Provide recommendations for addressing contract-related issues.
  • Execute all policies, instructions, tasks, and directives as assigned by leadership.
  • Collaborate with various departments to uphold contract terms and effectively communicate any changes.
  • Assist in the timely resolution of contract disputes and claims.
  • Offer full life-cycle support on all contract and commercial matters to the Person In Charge (PIC) and team members.
  • Conduct regular contract audits to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date physical and digital records of all contracts.
  • Manage the tendering, negotiation, and execution of low to mid-value contracts.
  • Apply sound commercial judgment in the interpretation and application of contractual terms and conditions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role; experience with property/real estate developers or contractors is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations is highly valued.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with credibility and foster buy-in and commitment across all levels.
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Proven leadership experience, with a background in managing teams.
  • Familiarity with payment terms and conditions, as well as processing payments and contract monitoring in construction projects.
