About Our Client

Our client, an established property developer in Indonesia, is seeking a Sr. Sustainability & Smart Design Architect position to be based in Jakarta. The requirements for the position are as follows:

As the Sr. Sustainability & Smart Design Architect, you will drive sustainability across the company's real estate projects. Your focus is to incorporate environmentally friendly and intelligent design principles into every phase of development, from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainable building and project solutions using energy-efficient technologies, eco-friendly materials, and innovative green strategies.
• Create comprehensive sustainability plans that reduce energy use, waste, and environmental impact while maximizing resource efficiency.
• Design visually appealing and user-friendly signage and graphics for public spaces.
• Create visually striking building exteriors that combine aesthetic appeal with sustainability.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless integration of sustainable design principles.
• Stay updated on the latest green building trends, technologies, and certifications.
• Mentor and develop junior staff to foster a sustainability-focused team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• At least ten years of architectural or design experience with a strong focus on sustainable design.
• Proven success in implementing sustainable solutions in mixed-use projects.
• Experience in both consulting and property development preferred.
• Relevant green building certifications (e.g., GreenShip, EDGE, LEED).
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
