About Our Client
Are you a highly capable Linux engineer who wants to own technical problems end-to-end, drive automation, and mentor junior staff?
We are looking for an Intermediate Linux Automation Engineer ready to transition from execution to independent problem-solving and service improvement. Your primary focus will be optimizing workflows and mastering the automation stack.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert, hands-on administration for production servers (RHEL/Ubuntu), focusing on Kernel tuning, deep boot processes, and performance optimization to ensure maximum uptime.
- Design, code, and test robust Bash or Python scripts from scratch to automate routine operational tasks, significantly reducing manual intervention and improving service consistency.
- Lead the technical investigation for operational failures, driving the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process and implementing verifiable, long-term fixes.
- Take ownership of complex administration tasks related to DNS (Authoritative/Recursive), Routing, and enterprise Mail services (Postfix, Dovecot).
- Actively participate in peer-reviewing changes (Change Enablement) and provide technical guidance and training to Associate Engineers.
Requirements
