About Our Client:

Our client is a leading multinational company with operations in Batam, specializing in the design and manufacture of electronic products and components for globally recognized brands. They support industry leaders in the design, production, and distribution of household electrical appliances. In Indonesia, the company serves as a vital production center in its worldwide network, prioritizing efficient manufacturing alongside sustainable practices.

Position Overview:

The QA Manager position oversees all quality standards and procedures to ensure products are safe, meet specifications, and comply with regulations. This role is a strategic leadership position that bridges the gap between production teams, senior management, and customers, focusing on continuous improvement across the entire product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all activities of Machine quality, taking responsibility for performance, eliminating risks, and consistently reducing line defect levels while enhancing customer-facing reporting and metrics.
• Conduct process audit for current and potential new production lines and internal processes to verify process capability and support improvements across all performance areas.
• Monitor QA department targets and lead training to instill a total organizational quality mindset, developing quality team members.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and provide technical advice or proposals/methods to management concerning productivity/efficiency, innovation, cost savings, quality of products, quality-related aspects of process control, and other key performance indicators.
• Prepare monthly quality reports and overall quality performance; develop new testing methods, streamline operations, and improve product and process quality.
• Support validation plan for new SKUs, product specification, or part & line validations, communicate with all involved parties, and ensure validity of organizational documents, QMS, and EHS compliance, supported by local experts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a quality role.
• Strong skills with 8D methodology, QC 7 tools, SPC, 4M, 5Whys, FMEA, PCP, Lean, Six Sigma, 6S, SAP, RQM, Minitab, Excel formula; familiarity with PCBA process, molding injection, Rubber, Metal part process is an advantage.
• Extensive experience in process audit, internal and external audit for ISO 9001, 14001, GMP standard, certification in ISO 9001 & 14001 preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; open, talkative, patient, professional yet approachable, and careful.
• Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and perform under pressure, with a good attitude, adaptability to company culture, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Willing to be placed in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia.
