About Our Client:

Our client is a leading multinational company with operations in Batam, specializing in designing and manufacturing electronic products and components for globally recognized brands. They support industry leaders in the design, production, and distribution of household electrical appliances. In Indonesia, the company serves as a vital production center in its worldwide network, prioritizing efficient manufacturing alongside sustainable practices.

Position Overview:

The Electrical Engineer position will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the production of electrical components and systems. This role ensures products are safe, efficient, and meet specific performance and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide electrical support to bring products from design to industrialization.
• Gather feedback on issues encountered online and report them to the design team, including your own proposals and lessons learned from production.
• Understand the product thoroughly, establish checkpoints on the production process, detect product failures during production, troubleshoot problems, and report back to the design team.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize the production process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, polymer science, or related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the same role, preferably in electronic design and testing within the household appliances sector.
• Strong knowledge of electronic and electrical components and troubleshooting techniques, skilled in using electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Familiar with industry standards and regulatory requirements for household appliances, microcontroller programming, and embedded systems.
• Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP is highly recommended, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good English skills and a positive attitude, adaptable to company culture, with strong teamwork, influence, problem-solving abilities, continuous improvement orientation, active listening, and presentation skills.
• Willing to be placed in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia.
