Engineered Air has diverse career opportunities in design, manufacturing, technical service or technical sales. We have manufacturing facilities in De Soto, Kansas, with other Canadian locations in Calgary, Edmonton, and Newmarket, with sales offices throughout Canada and the United States.

Engineered Air is recognized as a leader in providing extensive employee training. The training program is located in De Soto, Kansas. Depending on experience and ability of the candidate, training could be up to two years in length. This program allows you to rotate throughout our company in a variety of manufacturing and design modules and gives you a broad knowledge of our business. Through ongoing training presentations, we keep our employees current with the latest technology and developments. The training program will prepare you for a successful career and is consistent with your interests & aspirations as well as our corporate goals with Engineered Air.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of equipment performance data and specifications.
  • Detailed mechanical layout of air handling units.
  • Special construction details.
  • Hydronic or gas piping schematics.
  • Electrical wiring schematics.
  • Complete description of control sequence of operation.

Qualifications Required

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree/Diploma
  • Electrical Engineered Degree/Diploma
  • HVAC Engineering Technology Degree/Diploma
  • Currently attending a mechanical or electrical degree/diploma program.
  • Relevant experience would be an asset.
  • Related design, production, or service experience will be advantageous but not necessary.

Skills Required

  • Ability to accept assignments on short notice and work within strict deadlines is essential.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a team environment and have strong people skills.
  • The ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
