📋 Tasks and responsibilities

As an Acoustic & Vibration Project Engineer, you work on engineering and advisory assignments related to building and infrastructure projects. Your involvement can cover feasibility studies, concept and detailed design, technical support during execution, and on-site follow-up.

You will be part of a specialised setting focused on environmental acoustics, building acoustics and structural dynamics. The activities mainly take place in Belgium and concern projects in areas such as buildings, infrastructure, industry and nuclear facilities.

  • Perform specialised noise and vibration measurements.
  • Interpret measurement data and prepare structured reports with relevant indicators in accordance with applicable standards and legislation.
  • Create models and simulations to assess the generation, propagation and impact of noise and vibration in open and built environments, using dedicated software tools.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define practical and effective solutions through a solution-oriented approach.
  • Follow up on budget, planning and quality for the assigned engineering services.
  • Make sure projects are delivered in line with applicable quality procedures and health & safety requirements.
