About the job Data analyst / tester, insurance data (Freelance possible)
e're looking for a Life Insurance data tester for our client in the Life Insurance sector, to to support the portfolio migration project or commercial developments projects. This team of 10 people specialized in individual and collective life insurance consists of 3 types of functions: Actuaries, Business Analysts, and testers.
Your Responsibilities:
The project aims at migrating individual life insurance policies
Data testing
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for data validation activities.
- Execute manual and automated data testing procedures.
- Document evidence of testing and ensure full coverage of test scenarios.
- Design and implement automated programs and queries to support efficient testing.
- Collaborate with business owners to validate test results and ensure alignment with business expectations.
- Prepare and manage test data using mainframe systems for various testing phases.
Support testing transversal testing activities
- Review and challenge testing activities from other data migration phases to ensure consistency and quality.
- Support in defect root cause analysis
Test coordination
- Provide regular progress reports on data testing activities and outcomes.
- Manage and prioritize defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
Support business in data request
- Generate on-demand data extracts or reports for the migrated life insurance portfolio.
Your Profile:
- Imperative knowledge in life insurance
- Proven successful experience in data analysis and/or data testing
- Proficiency in SQL or other query languages for data validation.
- Knowledge in life insurance migrations
- Strong commitment to project quality and deadlines. A "can-do" attitude and flexibility.
- Autonomous and proactive in finding solutions to obtain necessary information.
- University degree in data, mathematics, economics or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector
- Proficient in French and English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Structured, organized (good priority management), and pragmatic.
- Strong adaptability and learning ability
- Effective communication with all audiences (actuaries, IT experts, management, etc.).
- Client and results-oriented.
