📋 Tasks and responsibilities

As a developer, you follow established engineering standards and contribute to the delivery of reliable, high-quality software.

AI & Architecture

Strong knowledge of:

  • AI agent development
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Vector databases

Backend

Experience with:

  • Python
  • FastAPI
  • API and service development
  • Queuing and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ
  • Database development with SQL Server, PostgreSQL or similar technologies
  • SQLAlchemy
  • Security concepts and integrations including OAuth, SAML and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Automated testing with Pytest

Additional assets:

  • LangChain
  • LangGraph
  • Microsoft Copilot technologies
  • AI orchestration frameworks

DevOps & Cloud

Knowledge of:

  • Containerisation technologies
  • Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Azure DevOps
  • GitOps tools such as ArgoCD
  • Cloud-native development practices

Frontend

Strong experience with:

  • React
  • JavaScript
  • CSS
  • UI development
  • NX framework for micro frontends

  • You work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • You have a good command of Dutch and/or French, combined with English.
  • If you are a non-EU national working in Belgium, you hold a valid work permit and a valid residence permit allowing you to live and work in Belgium.

Location

This role is based in the Brussels region and follows a hybrid working model. On-site presence is generally expected two days per week.
