We're looking for an experienced utilities engineer for projects at our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Create detailed designs and layouts for clean piping systems using CAD software
  • Material Selection: Select appropriate materials that comply with industry standards and ensure system integrity
  • Compliance: Ensure all piping systems meet regulatory and safety standards, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation and maintenance of piping systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct tests and validations to ensure the reliability and safety of piping systems
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, validation protocols, and maintenance records
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate piping systems into overall project plans
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to piping systems, proposing effective solutions to maintain system integrity

Your profile

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Piping Engineer, preferably in the Biotech or Pharma industry
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D design, knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME BPE), and familiarity with GMP regulations
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PE license) are a plus
  • Language: Dutch is a plus
