Senior Full stack developer (Freelance possible)

📝 Job Description:

As a Fullstack Developer consultant, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with our clients to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Angular, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team.
• Implement and adhere to Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure robust, high-quality code.
• Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.

📁 Project Context:

You will be joining our UHMEP project, focusing on the development of mobile and web applications that manage patient prescriptions, presenting them to both patients and care providers.

🧠 Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Technical Skills:
  • Front-end: Angular, Typescript, CSS/SCSS, Vue.js
  • Back-end: Java 17, Spring Boot (2.x, 3.x),Spring Security, Artemis, Spring Data JPA (Jakarta), Postgres, Flyway, QueryDsl, Junit5, assertj, Mockito
  • Database: PostgresSQL, Elasticsearch
• The candidate must be fluent in either French or Dutch and have an understanding of the other language.

Nice to have:

Tools: Docker, Tomcat, Nginx, Gitlab CI/CD, Jenkins

🧠 Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Spring Boot applications and hexagonal architecture
• Experience with workload deployed on Kubernetes (Openshift)
• Familiarity with modern development practices such as CI/CD and containerization.
• Knowledge of application development for various sectors including healthcare, environmental conservation, and public safety.
