Project Manager PMO & Data Governance (Freelance possible)

📌 Job Purpose

This project management role serves as a central coordination point for site-wide initiatives, strengthening project governance and helping ensure that projects are completed on time. The position supports overall prioritization across the site, with particular attention to interdependencies between departments and projects, and takes ownership of selected major initiatives from initiation through delivery. It also contributes to the standardization of project management practices, including processes, methodologies, governance frameworks, budgeting, and resource planning.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

📌 S&OP Management

• Align project planning with commercial planning to help ensure project batches are delivered on time with minimal impact on the commercial schedule.
• Oversee end-to-end governance for assigned projects across the site.

📌 Change and Transformation Leadership

• Foster effective collaboration and synergies between units to deliver key site projects successfully.
• Bring clarity, visibility, and focus to project execution.
• Build respectful, trust-based relationships within project teams and among stakeholders.
• Engage and motivate teams to achieve strong results through an empowered way of working.

📌 Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement

• Coordinate and lead key site projects.
• Implement and maintain project management methodologies, governance standards, resource planning practices, and documentation processes.
• Support the development and execution of the PMO roadmap by coordinating initiatives, tracking progress, identifying dependencies, and ensuring timely delivery of key PMO objectives.
• Analyze, simplify, and standardize business and project management processes by translating complex workflows into clear procedures, governance models, and fit-for-purpose PMO templates.
• Promote the sharing of best practices across functions.
• Build and maintain a strong internal and external network, including relevant operational stakeholders.
• Monitor activities related to major site projects through project leads in different departments.

📌 Data, Reporting and Digital Curiosity

• Explore opportunities in data and technology to support the transformation of the manufacturing site.
• Encourage colleagues to adopt and leverage data and digital solutions.
• Design and maintain data flows, data models, and reporting solutions by connecting multiple information sources and turning data into reliable insights for governance, reporting, and decision-making.
• Combine data processing, data modelling, and information flow design to connect disparate sources, improve data quality, and enable meaningful, user-friendly reporting.

📌 HSE & Quality

• Ensure that all activities comply with cGxP requirements, including data integrity standards.
• Work in accordance with all HSE guidelines.
• Identify and report potential incidents and risks, and contribute to appropriate solutions.
• Participate in initial and refresher training as required.

📌 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Projects delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards.
• Effective alignment across departments.

📝 Your profile

• You have at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in a comparable regulated environment.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a coordinating role.
• You have solid experience in project management and stakeholder management.
• You are able to build strong relationships across departments, gather requirements, align expectations, and facilitate discussions to bring different perspectives together.
• You are comfortable structuring, improving, and standardizing processes and governance frameworks.
• You have an affinity with data flows, data modelling, reporting, and information management.
• You understand the importance of HSE, quality standards, and data integrity in a regulated environment.
• You hold a bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Chemical Technology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Additional education in Economics, Management, or Administration is considered a plus.
• Qualifications in Lean Management, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or similar are an advantage.
• You communicate fluently in English and ideally also in Dutch.
