Data/AI Engineer (Freelance possible)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

The consultant will work as a medior Data/AI Engineer within the Data Center of Excellence team of our client in financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Extend and maintain the Data Platform (Databricks) in Azure based on current needs and evolving requirements.
• Lead and oversee the deployment of AI Azure services including AI Foundry, AI Search, OpenAI service and Document Intelligence, and serve as its technical owner.
• Set up governance and ensure Data Security and Compliance across Azure Services in the Data Platform
• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines for AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams working on AI projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues as necessary
• Offer expert advice on architectural discussions, AI model selection, and other technical decisions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data and AI infrastructure processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data/AI Engineer
• Expert in Databricks with at least 3 years of practical experience
• Experience with Azure AI Services
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
