Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Procurement Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement activities team, you will be responsible for coordinating procurement processes, managing vendor relationships and optimizing purchasing strategies to meet the company's objectives.
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing hardware, software and other material required for projects.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand procurement needs and prioritize purchases accordingly.
- Stay Informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new products to make informed procurement decisions.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations.
