Data Solutions Specialist

Job Description:

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable data pipeline and ETL/ELT workflows using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Design and optimize data models for analytical and operational use across the enterprise.
• Implement and manage Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Cosmos DB for structured and unstructured data storage.
• Lead data governance, security, compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, optimize, and automate data (transformation processes) using Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL-based solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to enable machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics solutions.
• Optimize data performance, cost efficiency, and reliability using the best practices in Azure cloud architecture.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging Microsoft data technologies, including Microsoft Fabric.
• Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on in data engineering or infrastructure, particularly with Azure cloud platform.
• Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in an enterprise or system integrator environment, with knowledge of Microsoft solutions like Azure and Microsoft 365 as an advantage.
• Strong skills in data transformation using Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL-based solutions.
• Knowledge of optimizing data performance, cost efficiency, and reliability in Azure cloud architecture.
• Ability to integrate emerging Microsoft data technologies.
• Experience in leading data governance, security, and compliance initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
