About the Role

As the Technical Sales / Operations Subject Matter Expert – Siding Installation, you will play a critical role in improving field execution, installation quality, and operational efficiency across assigned territories. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this position blends technical expertise, field coaching, and operational insight to support franchisees, installer crews, and subcontractors.

You will identify installation capacity and capability gaps, provide hands-on training and coaching, reinforce best practices, and collect real-time market and crew-level data to inform leadership decisions. This role is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys working directly with crews, improving systems, and driving measurable improvements without being tied to a desk full-time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of company services, programs, and siding installation standards

  • Support franchisees by identifying installation capacity and execution challenges within assigned territories

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with franchise owners, operations managers, sales managers, installer crews, and subcontractors

  • Provide hands-on installer training through jobsite coaching, audits, follow-up visits, and skill assessments

  • Identify gaps in installation capability and reinforce best practices to improve consistency, quality, and retention

  • Conduct pre- and post-training installation assessments to track compliance, skill progression, and performance improvement

  • Partner with leadership and Technical Sales Managers on joint action plans to improve market execution and contractor performance

  • Collect contractor economics data and real-world feedback related to costs, workflow barriers, and operational challenges

  • Manage a priority-based weekly schedule focused on high-impact site visits, targeted territories, and follow-ups

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in siding installation or general construction (e.g., Hardie, vinyl, rainscreen systems)

  • Proven success in a technical construction, field support, or operations-focused role

  • Strong understanding of construction operations and applicable building codes

  • Ability to coach, train, and influence installers and subcontractors in the field

  • Experience using CRM systems, AI tools, and Google Workspace

  • Bachelors degree preferred

  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel within assigned territories
