About the Role

As Commercial Insurance Producer, you will independently sell and service property and casualty commercial insurance to small and medium-sized business owners. You will manage high volumes of inbound leads, quote and rate new business opportunities, and build long-term relationships with underwriters and clients. This role is central to expanding Allegiance's commercial lines portfolio while positioning you as a trusted Small Business Insurance expert within a rapidly growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently sell P&C commercial insurance policies to small and medium-sized business owners.

  • Prepare, market, and quote rates across multiple insurance carriers.

  • Manage and respond to high volumes of inbound leads with timely and consistent follow-up.

  • Build and maintain relationships with commercial insurance underwriters.

  • Utilize CRM/AMS and comparative rating platforms for data entry, file management, quoting, and pipeline tracking.

  • Maintain organized, accurate records of client interactions and policy information.

  • Leverage two company-provided lead sources to grow your book of business.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and participate in hands-on training and development programs.

  • Support the growth and scaling of the in-house producer team as the organization expands.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years commercial insurance experience, including:

    • Active Commercial Lines / P&C insurance license in good standing.

    • Experience managing large volumes of inbound commercial leads.

    • Proficiency navigating multiple insurance carriers for ratings and quotes.

    • Experience using CRM/AMS and comparative rating systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
