Data Scientist

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join a fast-growing startup in Germany. This role involves identifying impactful Data opportunities, deploying machine learning models, and applying statistical best practices to drive business impact. 

Your Responsibilities

• Identify high-value ML business opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Develop and deploy end-to-end machine learning models, iterating based on performance insights.
• Apply strong statistical principles (A/B testing, probability, regression) to ensure data-driven decision-making.
• Gain a deep understanding of business challenges and customer behavior to enhance model effectiveness.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to align ML initiatives with business goals.

What You Need

• 3-5 or more years of relevant experience preferred.
• Extensive experience developing, deploying, and maintaining machine-learning models in production.
• Strong statistical knowledge and experience in A/B testing, probability, and regression analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms.
• Ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights clearly.
